SATELLITES OF HOPE
Our five-year vision:
To reach the unreached world, to seek out forgotten people and minister God's love, to courageously unite the Gospel with technology and boldly go where no Gospel has gone before.
MISSION
Empowering remote Christian communities worldwide, we combat poverty by equipping churches, pastors, and leaders with satellite communication hardware and technology skills. Through partnerships with global church communities, we drive lasting evangelical change, igniting transformation from the grassroots up.
STARLINK TECHNOLOGY
Satellites of Hope bring satellite technology to combat poverty, bolstering Christian education, telehealth, and job opportunities. Our global satellite network serves churches worldwide, bridging the digital gap in the world's most impoverished and secluded regions. We collaborate with local churches, community leaders, NGOs, and government partners, delivering technology, training, mentoring, and networking to Christian leaders and residents grappling with extreme poverty in rural, remote, and often overlooked areas.
THE BEGINNING
It starts with an initial investment in satellite hardware and educational technology, followed by tutoring to introduce participants to a modern 21st-century platform. Ultimately, underserved communities gain access to internet-based Christian reading libraries and business networks, all available in their native language.
MAKING HIM KNOWN
Satellites of Hope is committed to this complete, Christ-centered mission as we demonstrate God’s love. “Jesus is calling you.” (Gospel of Mark 10:49) through His miracles of space-age technology.
PHASE I
Cutting-edge technologies like Starlink and competing services such as ViaSat present innovative solutions to alleviate poverty in countries like Nigeria and Mozambique. Both nations grapple with poverty, particularly in their rural regions, often disconnected from neighboring areas. Nigeria bears a stark reality, with 83 million people facing extreme poverty, 53% of whom reside in rural zones. Similarly, in Mozambique, 77% of its 18 million residents living in extreme poverty are situated in rural areas.
